I have been teaching crochet since 2005, first teaching my friends and then moving on to teaching professionally in 2007 in conjunction with my designing career. I have taught crochet classes for children and adults at JoAnn Fabrics as well as three local yarn shops. I’ve also taught at the Florida Fiber-In in 2009, on the national level at the Knit and Crochet Show in 2010, and at the Crochet at Cama retreat in October 2011. I also teach classes online at Crochetville.org.
Designing and teaching are my full time job and something I’m very passionate about. I love the “ah-ha” moment that students get when they figure out they can create something beautiful. I approach every class with professionalism and am fully prepared with well-written handouts and samples.
I am available to teach one on one private lessons up to small groups within Central Florida. I also teach at a few local shops in the area and if scheduled, those classes, along with contact information, are listed below. If you are interested in scheduling me for a lesson or small group class, please use the contact form below. I do provide discounts for a small group scheduling together.
